This album was recorded in Brandon's Gatineau apartment in a couple days in August or September of 2011. We got the old band together to do a recording project - live off the floor --- each of us contributing a few songs. These recordings are all lyrics that I'd written (except for I'm a fool) --- but the quality of Bob and Eddie's and Brandon's playing, and us all working together can't be understated. That is one of the joys of recording with these players in a live, comfortable environment.
On one of the evening's, as we were waiting in a poutinery (of course!), we were practicing harmonies for a song (that is not published here). The proprietor came out and exclaimed, "I thought it was the radio, but then I say, 'no, it is Zee Boys!'" --- so it was, that "the boys" put this album together.
