D/ G/// D / G/// i am amped on your essence i could jump to the moon right now and i think i will maybe pick a couple stars for you A to plant in your lovely garden G where you do your headstands and place your feet Em firmly on the clouds A G F#m Em to surf around and around D the atmosphere G running your fingers D along the treetops G and the ocean waves A I picked you mars and venus too Em maybe you can juggle in the moon F#m by the windows in your secret room G where algebra tells knock knock jokes A who's there? x squared G F#m Em Oh I'm so square D(semichrom. walk down) if you don't catch this wave there's always another go with the flow dharma surfer you're a flower dharma surfer you're the water dharma surfer D hey lets go meditate we can practice riding waves in a balanced healthy way A/C#m F# E then maybe we can look into each other C#M E then maybe we can dive head long F#M C#M and swim in the clear waters D maybe exercise devotion and pure communication or maybe you can sweep me away with your warm waves and i'll end up on an island staring at the blue sky watching you go by on the clouds if you don't catch this wave there's always another go with the flower dharma surfer you're a flower dharma surfe you're the water dharma surfer did you know that while you go slow and graceful songs fall from your rhythms into the chorus of my heart i try to transcribe them but i get excited and i fumble and go and chase them the songs grow wings and lead to fields the fields grow flowers and all winged creatures want to fly so I sing a butterfly if you don't catch this wave there's always another go with the flower dharma surfer you're a flower dharma surfer you're the water dharma surfer

the old sages are engaged in conversation as the sun is shining through the window in the kitchen I could sit forever here and just listen float along upon the great imagination like a ship that travels on a timeless ocean to hear the kids that talk about initiation to bear the trauma of becoming men from children in this world where no one’s set to win and i often wonder why I am still living here til I sigh and tell myself to just keep going I’ve been on the sea so long but barely seen it and the truth is all around but I don’t know it I’m finding inspiration as I’m sitting in the kitchen my coffee mug is silent as I listen to the currents of the current conversation running through the great imagination

where sympathy springs up again life springs up again a caged bird sings a song drawn with shapes he can’t recount drawn with strange sounds and unseen circumstance known in his bones but not his mind known in his sound but not his song if only to find a spring a hole in the wall to glimpse another bird in a cage to blend the song would alleviate the pain where sympathy springs up again life springs up again other birds see open sky know many trees know the wet of the grass beneath their feet other birds know the wind the way it feels beneath their wings the sky is a movement in his soul the wind is a want in his breast cry cry bird in a cage cry cry when you sing if only to glimpse through window pane the sight of a bird to keep you insane where sympathy springs up again life springs up again

the rain is falling on the rooftop over flowing from the eavestrough the yard is a flush with the green of the season the wet of the lush sounds of raindrops in the mud and you breathe the wet air under the awning strumming chords on the guitar if there ever was a moment to savour something ancient moves in my memory stirrings in my soul the hazy rain and warm air arrive together in the feeling of forever leaves me feeling vibrant, almost drunk spring has sprung.

cherry blossom fallen off the tree two pink petals on the city street listen to the misshapen words shes spoken stories of her broken mythology oooh oooh ooh ooh Shes got a mind of her own wont you tell me one more story of your broken mythology won't you text me poetry paint my portrait paint my portrait for me cherry blossom is a friend of mine rests her chin against the starry sky listens to the music when the stars align the jewel shaped forest inside her eyes oooh .... she might've dreamed of darkness she might've dreamed of light she might've touched the stars on a summer night she might've fell down easy in my arms she might've cradled smoothly disappearing entwined with the stars cherry blossom bottle of red wine one shot star upon the summer time I could sing a song to you a thousand times make it be eternity inside your eyes oooh -- Carl David Onofrio Captain DeLumen, U.R. when the blue sky knocks at the window pane Im lying next to you your brown eyes look so sad and strange and we're distant from a world out there that is rearranged into your hair and the soft scent of flowers we could lay for hours and go nowhere i carry a rose that loses color that loses petals into the river the water that flows so as tomorrow comes to remember never never ever after the rain I keep you in my pocket on a rainy day the window watchers do they walk by when I look away no more roads in a gamblers hat old brick wall got painted black and the path to the garden grounds began to harden for all that
